After the long and hopeful wait, “Running Man: A Decade Of Laughter” in Manila took place at the Mall Of Asia Arena last April 1. The cast—Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Jong Kook, Song Ji Hyo, Jeon So Min, Jee Seok Jin, Haha, and Yang Se-chan—were supposed to hold the show pre-pandemic. Fast forward to three years since then, the stars finally got to meet their Filipino Runners.

They opened the night with their rendition of BTOB’s “Missing You.” Loud cheers filled the room as they each introduced themselves. Yoo Jae Suk exclaimed how happy they are to be in the Philippines for their first show, while Song Ji Hyo emphasized how there are a lot of Filipino Runners cheering for them. Haha also added how surprised he was to know that they have so many fans in the Philippines. “Salamat po,” said the members as they each give a bow to the audience.
The first part of the show was a l quick Q&A with cast. Hosted by Ryan Bang and Kring Kim, the members talked about their relationship off-screen, what they think of the Philippines, and many more. They then played games with their PH Runners. Two lucky fans, who are admins of Running Man’s PH fan club, got to take a Polaroid photo with the members after playing a “guess the K-pop song” game with them.
No pranks were made today, even if it’s April Fools day, but the jokes the members cracked all throughout the show were simply too funny.
The concert then took place after. Each member got to have their individual stages: Yang Se Chan with Zico’s “Artist,” Jee Seok Jin with Yeng Constantino’s “Ikaw,” Yoo Jae Suk (dressed in pink) with a trot song, Haha’s mini concert including the song “Don’t Laugh,” Jeon So Min with 2PM’s “My House,” Song Ji Hyo with “Rollin'” by Brave Girls, and Kim Jong Kook serenading the crowd with songs such as the well-loved “One Man.” They then proceeded their sub-unit performances including a cute performance of “Reply 1997” OST “All For You” from Jeon So Min and Yang Se Chan,” among many more performances.

As the show was about to end, Yoo Jae Suk said “It’s not just me, but the members also feel the same. Your sincere messages are overwhelmingly heartwarming. Sometimes, we ask ourselves, “Who are we to deserve this love?” It’s because of your love and support that we’re here. As long as you’re with us, we’ll keep running.” The cast then got together one last time to sing Kim Jong Kook’s “Lovable.”
