In the 5th episode of “Alchemy Of Soul”, there’s a tree that Naksu (Go Yoon Jung) frequently climbs to see the moonlight. Now as Mu Deok (Jung So Min), she reminenses the time she was able to climb. When Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook) saw her, he promised her to someday master Chisu to take her up there.
In the next episode, Seo Yul (Hwang Minhyun) also told her that he can help her climb. But she replied with not “just anybody” can do that for her—making Jang Uk grin in secret.
The tree is called Mt. Seongheungsan Love Tree and is located in South Chungcheong Province. The place was also featured in various Korean dramas including “Hotel del Luna,” “Mystic Pop-up Bar,” “The Crowned Clown,” and “My Sassy Girl,” among others.
Additionally, both Naksu (“Alchemy Of Soul”) and Jang Man Wol (IU in “Hotel del Luna”) seem to find this tree special.
