ENHYPEN is back in Manila for their BENCH Fan Meeting at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 28. The seven-member group, consisting of Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki talked about their Filipino ENGENEs (fan club name) during their press conference.
Jake lauded the unwavering enthusiasm of their Filipino fans, noting their exceptional energy as one of the main reasons why they keep coming back to the country. He shared, “Whenever we come here, the energy is incredible. They [ENGENEs] also always give out the best energy, too, when we perform.” Jake also talked about how Filipinos often sing-along their songs. “Every time we hear that, we feel like we’re very blessed, and [we’re] very happy,” he explained.

The group’s frequent visits to the Philippines have solidified their bond with their local fanbase. Hence, agreeing to their statement on how music really does transcend languages.
Additionally, the members also talked about what they love most about the Philippines, and the activities they want to do. Sunghoon shared that he wanted to go to Cebu and Boracay. While Heeseung mentioned his love for dried mangoes.
ENHYPEN has been in the Philippines for a few times already. Leader Jungwon recalled, “It’s been four months since we last visited the Philippines for our [FATE] tour in New Clark City. And the last time we visited Manila was during the [MANIFESTO] concert, which was around 1 year ago.”
This time, the group is in Manila for their [A SWEET EXPERIENCE] fan meeting at the Mall Of Asia Arena on May 28. As endorsers for a clothing brand, they also shared their favorite fashion styles. Ni-ki mentioned that he’s into street-style fashion these days, adding, “But I’m also keen on experimenting with various styles.” Jay also chimed in, expressing his love for street fashion and loose, oversized outfits.
