Han Hyo Joo talked about working with Disney+ once again after the success of her last original series, ‘Moving”.
She said during the press conference of her new upcoming Disney+ Original, “BloodFree”: “The drama, “Moving,” was met with so much love. I am happy to work [and collaborate] with Disney+ once again.”
In “Blood Free,” Han Hyo Joo portrays lab-grown meat CEO Yoon Ja Yu, when asked about her character, she described her as: “At first glimpse, you can’t tell if she is a villain or hero—that’s how reserved she is in terms of expressions.”
She also added, “To portray the character, I tried to switch my vocal tone to something more reserved, and I tried to portray her as someone who is like a crisp and dried leaf.”
Han Hyo Joo is known for her bubbly personality, but her character Yoon Ja Yu is her opposite. She said, “[My character] almost rarely smiles.” Hence, viewers will see a different side of the actress in “Blood Free.”
