Jeong Jin Man (portrayed by Lee Dong Wook), a former killer-for-hire, leaves behind his niece, Jeong Ji An (portrayed by Kim Hye Jun), when he unexpectedly “passed away.”
“A Shop For Killers” makes use of mixing the past and present via effective storytelling—as it still gives viewers something to be curious of through wanting to learn more about the past and hoping for a better future for the characters. It combines action and thriller, but adds tension with a battle-inexperienced character. It makes the viewers keep guessing: will she survive?
As the series ended today—here are 5 reasons why the drama deserves a season two, through these unanswered questions.
1.) What really happened to Jin Man?
You know, if you know—and if you’ve watched the final episode. Although there are clues as to what actually took place, it’s still best to know the truth from the actual people involved.
2.) Where are Min Hye and Pasin?
Is Min Hye alive? Did Pasin take her to the hospital? Or did he find a place for her body to peacefully “rest”? The two have greatly helped the uncle-and-niece duo throughout this ordeal, and are also top favorites among the viewers. Hence, those rooting for them would only hope that they’re safe.
3.) What is Bale’s next plan?
We doubt that he’ll just give up. Will a one-on-one with him being (possibly) the last boss still happen? And is he actually the final enemy?
4.) How will Ji An overcome the trauma?
Ji An went through a lot during her younger years, and the trauma from losing her parents made her unable to speak. Still, Ji An became physically stronger and mentally sharp (“Listen up, Jeong Ji An”) throughout years of training. Yet, how will she react to the situation once things settles down?
5.) Can Ji An really fulfill her promise regarding Murthehelp?
Ji An’s promise has a lot of financial liability. Will she really continue being a part of Muthehelp? How will Muthehelp fulfill their promise, and what happens if they break them? Will Muthehelp still be operational, or will it cease to exist?
