In a report by SBS Star, Disney+’s “Moving” director, Park In Je, reportedly tried to make Zo In Sung look “ugly” in the series due to the role he’s playing: Kim Doo Shik, “a father and fugitive located in a rural area who works under the sun.”
The director, however, described him as being “incredibly good-looking” that it was difficult to make him less good-looking. They, alongside the production crew, however, tried to make “his clothes dirtier and his hair really messy.” He stated in the interview, “We did do our best to make him look ‘ugly’, but there seemed to be a limit to how ‘ugly’ we could make him look.”
“Moving” is streaming via Disney+.
