During the BENCH press conference of K-pop group Stray Kids, the members talked about their fanbase—STAYs.
In regards with having both local and international fans, Changbin shared, “Being able to receive love from our all fans—overflowing love and interest from everyone—allows us to live our everyday lives very happily. And to think that so much people are giving us this much interest, it also allows us to realize our responsibility as artists, where we have to also be able to reach expectations as well.”
When it comes to doing their best, Han says that they really put their all whenever they are on stage. He said, “Wherever we would prepare for any type of performance, whatever it will be. We always try our best to fulfill the expectations of our stays,” adding that their top interest will always be the group’s and everyone’s safety, and to communicate with their fans properly.
All in all, Bangchan also added how the fanclub name STAY was formed. He explained that “R” in STRAY means “reason,” elaborating, “STRAY minus R becomes STAY, STAYS are the reason STRAY KIDS still exist.”
