Rowoon (the lead actor in “Destined With You” and a member of k-pop group SF9) reportedly didn’t take any payment for his role in Ahn Hyo Seop’s Netflix series “A Time Called You,” as revealed in an interview with Joy24 News.
As mentioned in the article, the director of the series was looking for someone Ahn Hyo Seop is comfortable with and asked if the actor had any friends in the industry. Hence, Rowoon came in the discussion and was offered the role. Rowoon, however, played the character without a fee and only asked to send a food truck to Ahn Hyo Seop under his name.
In a previous interview with Reporter Eun, Ahn Hyo Seop actually named Rowoon as his closest celebrity friend, stating that they’ve been friends since they were younger.
