In an exclusive interview with giaallana.com, the cast members of “Duty After School”—Shin Hyun Soo, Lim Se Mi, and Kim Ki Hae—talked about the possibility of visiting the Philippines one day.

Shin Hyun Soo, who plays Lieutenant Lee Chun Ho, shared, “I’m really thankful for the love for Korean dramas [in the Philippines]. If I get the chance, I’d like to go to Bohol, and see the beautiful sunset while taking a break.”

Although Shin Hyun Soo haven’t visited the country before, both Lim Se Mi (portraying Park Eun Young) and Kim Ki Hae (portraying Kim Chi Yeol) already travelled to the Philippines.

Lim Se Mi shared, “In my twenties, when I was part of the drama “That Winter, The Wind Blows”, we went to the Philippines as part of a reward trip. I had good memories then. I clearly remember the gaze and expressions of Filipinos being really warm.”

When asked if she wanted to visit again, she said, “I’d love to go if I am invited.”

As for Kim Ki Hae, the actor mentioned visiting the Philippines during his younger years. He said, “I’ve actually been to the Philippines once in middle school. Despite being in middle school then, I remember I was popular with the older female students there. A lot of them were friendly with me so I have good memories of my time there.”

He added, “I have a lot of good memories from my trip there, so, if I get a chance, I’d like to visit the Philippines again. I hope people will recognize me then.”

“Duty After School” Part 2 premieres 9.15pm this coming Saturday and Sunday on tvN Asia (Cignal (DTH) CH160 | Smart GigaPlay app).
