Kim Seon Ho Talks About His Upcoming Film “Sad Tropics”, His New Project, And His Good Boy Image

During his Manila press conference for his fan meeting today, January 22, at the Mall Of Asia Arena, Kim Seon Ho talked about his past and upcoming projects.

The actor first expounded on his “Good Boy” title, coming from his roles as Han Ji Pyeong in “Start-Up” and Hong Banjang in “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.” He explained that he feels he is in between a good boy and a bad boy image. However, in his upcoming projects, he is trying his best to play a role opposite from his good boy persona.

He then shared tidbits about his upcoming projects. First is his role in “Sad Tropics,” he conveyed that he will be portraying a character “who is chasing a Filipino boy.” He will also play the role of a general in another upcoming project.

Regarding how he prepares for his projects, Kim Seon Ho said that he really tries to study his characters. The actor also noted on his acting goals, stating, “I want my fans to remember me as someone who develops a lot, and tries hard every time. There is more (acting projects) to come.”

Overall, Kim Seon Ho also divulged on his favourite role. He said, “All roles are very memorable. But, right now, the most memorable is Hong Du Shik from “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, as it is the most recent.”
