Ripples For Hope 2022: A Day Of Games For Fan Clubs, And A Night Of Performances From AKMU, MOMOLAND, And EVERGLOW

Ripples For Hope 2022—which happened last November 26 at the Mall Of Asia Arena—was a day filled with games and performance. Nineteen fan clubs played games and competed for the 1st Ripple Champion title during the day. At night, the stage was graced with performances from AKMU, MOMOLAND, and EVERGLOW.

DAY: LET THE GAMES BEGIN

The day program opened with a speech from Pulp Live World’s Ms. Happee Sy. Next was the competition between various K-pop fan clubs started as they play six sets of games–some inspired by popular Korean series “Squid Game”, including “Red Light, Green Light” and Tug-Of-War.

One highlight during the day program was the Bring Me segment. When the audience was asked to bring their oldest concert ticket, a fan brought her binder which showcased a collection of her concert tickets throughout the years.

The 1st Ripples Championship was given to Team Bangkon. The top three teams got to take a photo with the night program’s artists–AKMU, MOMOLAND, and EVERGLOW.

NIGHT: PERFORMANCES BY AKMU, MOMOLAND, AND EVERGLOW

The night opened with performances from EVERGLOW. The girl performed their tracks including “LA DI DA,” “Pirate,” and “DUN DUN.” They also showcased the Tagalog words they learned including “mabuhay,” “masaya ako na makita kayo,” and manu more.

MOMOLAND returns to Manila once again. The girls performed their hit tracks “BAAM” and “Bboom Bboom,” and some of their newer tracks including “Wrap Me In Plastic” and “Yummy Yummy Love.” They also talked about how they used to stay in the Philippines for weeks to promote, and also how much they love mangoes!

The last (but never the least) act was AKMU. It is the duo’s first time to perform in Manila. The two introduced themselves in Tagalog, then sang their songs “Give Love,” “200%,” and “Dinosaur,” among many others.
