(G)I-DLE brought their JUST ME ( )I-DLE in Manila last September 11 at the New Frontier Theater.
The girls opened the night with “Oh My God,” then performed songs “Villain Dies” and “Latata.”
Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua enthusiastically greeted their PH Nevelands, confessing that they’ve always wanted to perform in Manila. They also added how this concert is special for them, as it’s their first time to perform in the Philippines.
The girls communicated with their fans mostly in English. They also expressed how they hope they can be friends with PH Neverlands, and each one in the crowd can meet new friends during the concert, too!
The fans also made sure to make (G)I-DLE members feel loved as they energetically cheered for the girls whenever they performed. A special moment was when they greeted Yuqi a “happy birthday,” as she will be celebrating her 23rd birthday on September 23.
Additionally, the group performed their hit songs including “Lion,” “HWAA,” “HANN,” and the most-awaited track “Tomboy”–showcasing their undeniable talent and stage presence while wearing outfits that are all fit for a queen.
Before the show concluded, (G)-IDLE promised to come back to the Philippines. They said performing in Manila is a “dream come true,” and they can really feel Manila Neverlands’ passion and energy.
The girls ended the night with “Polaroid,” as confetti filled the venue—like how the night also filled the hearts of Filipino Neverlands.
