Super Junior’s Super Show 9: Postponed, Not Cancelled—Showcasing Their Everlasting Friendship With PH ELFs

Super Junior’s Super Show 9 in Manila is postponed, not cancelled. The meet-and-greet that happened in place of the tour truly showed the strong and everlasting friendship between Super Junior and ELFs.

Leeteuk said, “This concert is not cancelled, but postponed. Think of it as if you bought the ticket early, actually just keep the tickets. To my lovely ELFs and to our lovely staff to be all happy, we will come back as soon as possible with the center, Siwon, and my doppelganger, Eunhyuk. I am happy now because I saw you my beautiful ELFs.”

Siwon was earlier announced to be unable to join due to testing positive for COVID-19. On the day of their flight to Manila, Eunhyuk also did not board the plane going to the Philippines. It was later revealed that his father passed away, making it unable for him to join the group.

During the meet-and-greet, the members had the chance to deliver sincere messages—while fighting back their tears—to the crowd. Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun also sang their songs “My Wish,” “Callin,” and “More Days With You” for their fans.

At the end of the show, Leeteuk also added, “You have given us your precious time. We thank you all ELFs for supporting us for 18 years.” Pulp Live World’s Ms. Happee Sy also tweeted “Thank you Leeteuk for being the best leader.”

ELFs will wait for you, Super Junior.
