LIST: A Timeline To 10 Korean Dramas And Films Starring Jun Ji Hyun As The Lead Star — Proving Her Timeless Beauty

Jun Ji Hyun (also known as Gianna Jun) started acting at the age of 17, 23 years later she is now an A-list star in South Korea, married, and a mom of two children. Still, despite being in her 40s, Jun Ji Hyun’s visuals are unchanging, and here’s proof of her timeliness beauty.

1.) “Il Mare” (2000)

“Il Mare” is a 90’s film starring now top stars Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Jung Jae (from the hit series “Squid Game”). The film is about a woman from the future who is able to send letters to a man from the past.

2.) “My Sassy Girl” (2001)

“My Sassy Girl” was a box-office hit, being the highest-grossing Korean comedy film in 2001. The film also stars Cha Tae Hyun, and is now an international media franchise with various remakes.

3.) “Windstruck” (2004)

The film, which also stars Jang Hyuk, is said to be an indirect prequel of “My Sassy Girl,” as the movie contains a lot of references from the 2001 film.

4.) “Blood: The Last Vampire” (2008)

The Japanese-produced film is the live-action version of the animated movie with the same title. It is about the last remaining vampire, Saya, who has the body of a 17-year-old despite being 400 years old.

5.) “The Thieves” (2012)

In this star-studded film, Gianna Jun plays Yenicall, a con-artist who is part of the team consisting of professional thieves: Popie (Lee Jung Jae), Chewingum (Kim Hae Sook), and Zampano (Kim Soo-Hyun). This is also her reunion film with Lee Jung Jae, and what started her on-screen chemistry with Kim Soo Hyun.

The award-winning film once again stars Gianna Jun and Lee Jung Jae. The movie was filmed in China and South Korea. Gianna plays An Ok Yoon, a sniper. Ju Ji Hoon, her co-star in “Jirisan,” also noted that this is one of the films of the actress he finds most memorable, alongside “My Sassy Girl.”
