FOOD LIST: Seafood Dishes In “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” And Where To Buy Them

Set at a village with a seaside view, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” (starring Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah) features various seafood dishes in the drama.

Here are four seafood dishes you might want to try.

1.) Fringed Blenny Sashimi

Served when Ji PD visited Gong Jin, this rare sashimi is from a fish called fringed blenny.

Where to buy: Although this particular dish might not be available in Manila, you can buy Korean sashimi in Bada Seafood located in Poblacion, Makati. They offer Salmon, Lapu-lapu, and Butter Fish sashimi, among others. The dish is priced at around 2,000 to 4,000 pesos. Sashimi is also available via Hanakazu Japanese Restaurant, with choices suck as Maguro, Ama Ebi, and Otoro, among others. Price range starts at 500 pesos.

2.) Snow Crab

This Snow Crab is served during Hong Du Shik’s grandfather’s memorial service, as it is his grandpa’s favorite.

Where to buy: Live Snow Crabs are available at 4,536 pesos via The Bow Tie Duck.

3.) Chulpan Sewu

Hong Du Shik’s specialty, Sizzling Garlic Shrimp, which he served as a dish for Yoon Hye Jin and Ji PD.

Where to buy: This particular dish is available via Kaya Restaurant for 380 pesos.

4.) Doenjang Jjigae

The dish Gam Ri halmeoni served to Ji PD’s team, which DOS member June complimented is a Korean stew made of fermented soybean paste, vegetables, and seafood.

Where to buy: This dish is also available via Kaya Restaurant and Go Kizip, among other Korean restaurants, for around 300+ pesos.
