Kim Seon Ho (from “Start-up” and “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha”) was recently reported to star in the upcoming film “Sad Tropics.” In the movie, one of the characters will be a Korean-Filipino boxer with a Korean father and a Filipina mom. The said character went to Korea to find his father.
The actor’s agency, SALT Entertainment, responded that they are actually reviewing the offer. If he accepts the offer, this will also be his debut film.
UPDATE: According to a Naver article, Kim Seon Ho might not portray the role of the Fil-Kor boxer, but is in talks to play one of characters in the film. As there is no confirmation from SALT Entertainment, please take these reports with a grain of salt. (No pun intended.)
UPDATE: Kim Seon Ho is confirmed to star in the film with Go Ara.
