1.) Beyond Evil
“Beyond Evil” features another police officer duo as they try to uncover the mystery behind a 20-year-old murder case. The series — starring Shin Ha Kyun and Yeo Jin Goo — also won the Best Drama Award at the 57th Baeksang Art Awards this year.
The series follows the story of a young criminal profiler who miraculously got in contact with a detective from the past; through a walkie-talkie, Hae Young from 2016 is able to speak with Detective Jae Han from 2000. The two try to help each other uncover an unsolved case. “Signal” is also won two Best Drama Awards — at the tvN10 Awards and the 52nd Baeksang Art Awards.
3.) Innocent Defendant
“Innocent Defendant” is about a prosecutor who was wrongfully prosecuted for a crime he didn’t commit. The drama — starring Ji Sung — follows his attempt at clearing his name, even while he’s in jail. The also series won the Best Drama Award at the 2017 SBS Drama Awards.
Dong Baek (portrayed by Yoo Seung Ho) is gifted with the power to read the memories of the people he touches. He uses his ability to track down criminals, which eventually led to uncovering a serial murder case. But what happens if the person involved also has a similar ability?
