Park Hyung Sik and Han Hyo Joo are confirmed to star in the upcoming tvN apocalyptic thriller series titled “Happiness.” This will be both their comeback drama. Han Hyo Joo’s last drama was 5 years ago in “W Two Worlds” (2016) with Lee Jong Suk. While Park Hyung Sik’s last drama was 3 years ago in “Suits” (2018); this will also be his first drama after his discharge from his mandatory military service.
In their new project, Park Hyung Sik will portray a detective named Jung Yi Hyun, while Han Hyo Joo is Yoo Sae Bom, a female officer who is part of the police squad. The two are friends since their school years, with Jung Yi Hyun having romantic feelings for Yoo Sae Bom.
The series will be about survival, as Jung Yi Hyun tries to protect Yoo Sae Bom and those who are struggling due to the drama’s apocalyptic set-up.
