Jisoo, who was accused of bullying and school violence including ostracizing, verbal abuse, physical violence, and blackmailing. KeyEast Entertainment commented yesterday that they are looking into the issue.
Today, the actor posted an apology via Instagram:
“I sincerely apologize to those who suffered from me. What about the past misbehavior, there is no excuse. These were actions that could not be forgiven.
As I started acting, I covered my past. Receiving undeserved attention from the public, I think I’ve come this far. But in the heart of the past, there was always a feeling of guilt. It’s too late to turn back regrets. It always came to me with great anxiety. The dark past has always crushed me.
Seeing myself acting as an actor, we deeply atone for those who have suffered for a long time. I will reflect on and regret my past, which I will not be able to wash my whole life.
Because of this great fault, it is painful and shameful to cause tremendous damage to broadcasts, producers, actors, and staff members who have been silently watching the scene unfold. I sincerely hope that this will not cause any further damage to the drama.
To all those who have been hurt by me, on my knees, I sincerely apologize.”
Jisoo starred in dramas such as “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” and “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.” He is currently starring in “River Where The Moon Rises.”
According to KBS, filming for “River Where The Moon Rises” today has been canceled. Earlier today, actor Jisoo (who plays On Dal) apologized for his bullying and school violence issue.
KBS will be having a meeting to decide on what to do next regarding the drama. There are also petitions regarding replacing Jisoo as the lead.
“River Where The Moon Rises” actor Jisoo reportedly removed and stepped down from the series. KBS is said to be looking for a new actor to replace him. Before his bullying and school violence issue, Jisoo already filmed around 17-18 episodes of the drama.
Back in March 2021, Jisoo apologized for his bullying accusations. Hence, he only admitted to this. He, however, denied all sexual assault allegations.
