The Different Faces Of Seo Ye Hwa, (also known as Hwang Geum Bi and Aphrodite in “Backstreet Rookie”)

Seo Ye Hwa currently stars as Hwang Geum Bi, the rich yet generous friend of Jung Saet Byul (portrayed by Kim Yoo Jung), in “Backstreet Rookie.” The actress, however, already appeared in various Korean dramas. It may not be easy to spot her due to her extreme transformations for each character she plays, but most of her supporting roles are actually quite memorable.

Here’s a rundown of some of her characters:

In Netflix’s “Extracurricular,” Seo Ye Hwa portrayed one of the girls in Oh Jisoo’s (portrayed by Kim Dong Hee) pool. She’s the one who got in trouble when her “booking” turned out to be a maniac during the series’ first episode. She often dons a wig in the drama.

Hwang Geum Bi is part of Jung Saet Byul’s group. In the series, she’s able to showcase her more comedic side, especially when she’s interacting with Han Dal Sik (portrayed by Eum Moon Suk), who eventually became her love interest. The two are also popularly known as Aphrodite and Fire Volcano. Additionally, in the drama, Seo Ye Hwa is often seen with permed colored hair.

Did you recognize her, too, in these dramas?
