“When My Love Blooms” is about two people who were each other’s first love. Han Jae Hyun (GOT7’s Jinyoung) and Yoon Ji Soo (Jeon Seo Nee) met during their college years. Jae Hyun was a law student and a student protester who’s fighting for labor rights, while Ji Soo’s a pianist with a strict prosecutor as her dad.
After being separated for around 20 years, the two met again as two different people. Jae Hyun (Yoo Ji Tae) is now the husband of a chaebol, while Ji Soo (Lee Bo Young) is a divorcee struggling to make ends meet.
The series showcases the bittersweet feeling of youthful love, and a person’s longing of his/her lost love from the past.
