Park Hae Joon debuted at the age of 36, snagged his first lead role in a Korean drama at 43

“The World of the Married” actor Park Hae Joon (as Lee Tae Oh) debuted as a Korean drama actor in the 2012 series “Jeon Woo Chi” at the age of 36.

He then appeared in various Korean dramas including “Doctor Stranger” as the North Korean Doctor Yibangin, “Misaeng” as the office worker Cheon Kwang Woong, “The Missing” as Ha Tae Jo, “My Beautiful Bride” as Park Hyeong Sik, “Wanted” as Sung Jung Ho, IU’s “My Mister” as Monk Gyeom Duk,” and in Song Joong Ki’s “Arthdal Chronicles” as Moo Baek.

He has been portraying supporting characters since his debut. His role in “The World of the Married” is his first lead role at the age of 43. The actor is turning 44 this June 14.

His on-going drama with Kim Hee Ae is currently receiving a lot of love from viewers, as the show’s ratings reached an all-time high at 20.016% (nationwide) and 22.276% (in Seoul).
