Hailee Steinfeld talks about her visit to Manila last year

During an online interview with Fil-Am artist Hailee Steinfeld, the singer-actress talked about wanting to collaborate with “Thinking Out Loud” singer Ed Sheeran one day. She also shared how it feels to release music during these trying times. Hailee explained, “I really do believe that music has such a unique ability, to connect people and bring people joy.”

Hailee also recalled her show in Manila last year. The “Pitch Perfect” actress narrated, “I remember thinking before I had to play to them, I had a total panic attack and thought that no one was going to show up. And it ended up being the biggest turn out I’ve ever ever received, I think, to this day. And I think I can always count on that when I come to the Philippines.”

The “I Love You’s” singer even showed her gratitude to her Filipino fans through a short but sweet message. She said, “It’s such an honor and a blessing, and I do feel so lucky that I have so many loving and supportive fans there that just make my trip [worthwhile] every time.”

After the press conference, Hailee met her PH fans once again through an online fan event.

 

Hailee Steinfeld is known for her hit songs “Starving” and “Love Myself.” Her new song “I Love You’s” has also been released, the track marks her directorial debut and her second single this year.
